Manitra has extensive modelling and analytical skills and has published several books and articles on broad areas- trade and investment policies; regional and preferential trading arrangements; economic growth, fiscal policies and foreign investment; and employment and labour productivity.
Manitra A. Rakotoarisoa has more than 28 years of academic and research experiences in applied economics, specializing in International Trade and Marketing and Industrial Organization. He holds a PhD (2001) and an MS (1998) in Applied Economics from Oklahoma State University, the USA, and an MSc (1989) in Industrial Engineering from the Université d’ Antananarivo, Madagascar.
